Investigo Government Solutions (IGS) are looking for PIP 1 or PIP 2 investigators for a Protecting Vulnerable Persons (PVP) team in Gainsborough, Lincoln. This is a 9 month contract with possible extension.

The role involves working as part of a team in PVP to undertake enquiries and support PVP investigations when required, including interviewing suspects and gathering evidence from victims and witnesses, digital media, and other sources.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Serious crime/PVP investigator
  • ABE trained
  • Witness video interviewer
  • Have obtained DC or DS level

We offer:

  • £170 p/day, inclusive of holiday pay
  • Monday to Friday, early and late shifts
  • Part time, 3 or 4 days a week considered
  • Continuous professional development

Duties involve:

  • Evidence Gathering: Securing and reviewing evidence, including witness statements, CCTV, and documentary evidence
  • Victim and Witness Support: Supporting victims and witnesses in a sensitive and professional manner
  • File Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of case file material and other operational documents

Essential Criteria:

  • PIP 1 or PIP 2 accreditation
  • Successfully trained in Video Witness Interviewing
