Job Description
This role will report directly to the CFO and encompasses the following key responsibilities:
- Manage 4-5 direct reports
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting for the Group, delivering both weekly and monthly forecasts.
- Analyse and present findings regarding performance versus cost budgets.
- Manage and review all monthly and quarterly reconciliations.
- Ideally possess working knowledge of both UK and US GAAP.
This position is suited for a fully qualified accounting professional who demonstrates strong leadership qualities and is willing to undertake the work themselves to ensure that reporting and accounting compliance is delivered to a high standard. Experience in interim roles is preferred, as the candidate should be able to quickly adapt and add value.
The role is inside IR35 and requires an initial 6-month commitment. The company is located in the West Midlands, which is not easily accessible via public transport. The position is office-based for 2 days a week, with the remainder being worked remotely, and will have an immediate start.
