The Lead Data Architect is responsible for defining and governing the strategic direction of data architecture within the business, with a particular focus on SAP-based data ecosystems within the UK Link platform.
Responsibilities
- SAP Data Architecture Strategy
- Maintain enterprise-level data architecture standards for UK Link
- Own the design of data models and structures
- Data Governance & Compliance
- Enforce master data management (MDM), data quality, classification, and retention policies across SAP systems
- Establish and maintain data lineage and metadata strategies
- Integration & Interoperability
- Design scalable and secure data interfaces between SAP and non-SAP
- Support the architecture of data replication, transformation, and reporting layers, especially involving SAP BW and analytics platforms
- Solution Review & Assurance
- Participate in change reviews to ensure SAP data components are impacted
- Review SAP-related changes or enhancements from a data perspective
