Invest Engine is an ETF investment platform for individuals and businesses.
We focus on making investing simple, low-cost and transparent, with a product that customers actually enjoy using.
We operate in a regulated environment and put a lot of care into clear, fair communication and a strong customer experience across our app, web, and all customer touchpoints.
About The Role
We're hiring a Mid-weight Marketing Designer to help produce Invest Engine's marketing design output across brand and campaign work — with a strong focus on motion . Roughly half the role is static/brand design and half is marketing motion and animation.
This is a hands-on delivery role.
You'll produce high-quality marketing creative that applies our existing brand system and follows the creative direction, workflows and quality bar set by the Design team.
You'll sit within Design, working alongside product and comms designers, and partner day to day with Marketing to turn campaign briefs into effective, on-brand assets — bringing in-house the motion capability we currently rely on freelancers for.
What You'll Do
- Produce marketing creative across digital and print touchpoints (brand, paid social, partnerships, email, landing pages, OOH, affiliates, organic social).
- Create marketing motion and animation — animated social assets, campaign videos, and brand animation — as roughly half of your workload.
- Apply our established brand system and guidelines consistently across all outputs.
- Take marketing tasks from brief to delivery against agreed direction; flag blockers and questions early.
- Work closely with Marketing to understand campaign objectives and deliver on-brand creative that supports acquisition and clarity.
- Balance quality and speed, using our design system and templates to work efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- You don't need to tick every box, but most of these should feel close to home:
- Around 3–5 years' experience in marketing/brand design across campaigns, brand assets, and communications.
- Demonstrable motion/animation skill, with a showreel — animated social, campaign video, or brand animation.
- Strong visual craft and the ability to keep work consistent across channels and formats within an existing brand system.
- Comfortable executing to a defined creative direction and delivering reliably with light supervision.
- Well organised, proactive, collaborative, can-do attitude.
- An interest in investing or personal finance.
- Tools and ways of working
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Motion/video: proficiency in After Effects (and Premiere Pro for video). Core to the role, not a nice-to-have.
- Nice to have
- 3D design (Cinema 4D / Blender).
- Experience working in a regulated environment such as investing.
- Experience using AI tools in design workflows, with good judgement about when to apply them.
