About InvestEngine
InvestEngine makes investing powerfully simple. In a market crowded with complexity, we focus on what works: unbeatable value, effortless automation, and easy-to-use, diversified ETF portfolios. With over £3 billion invested, an award‑winning service, and a passionate team — we’re just getting started.
About The Role
Paid Activation is a growing area and we want to build a best‑in‑class team to help fuel our next stage of growth. We're looking for a hands‑on, data‑obsessed Performance Marketing Manager who will build, launch and optimise our paid media campaigns day‑to‑day. You’ll own our paid acquisition channels end‑to‑end, working with the Head of Performance Marketing to drive cost‑efficient strategic growth across a portfolio of platforms with a bias for testing and a sharp eye on unit economics.
What You’ll Do
- Campaign Execution & Management: Build, launch, and optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, TikTok, Reddit and LinkedIn — with potential to expand further across other channels. Collaborate with the Content, Design, Video and Influencer teams to create cut‑through and compelling creatives for our key audience segments and channels. Manage budgets on a daily basis, reallocating spend toward highest‑performing campaigns in real time. Set up and maintain campaign structures, audience segments, bidding strategies, and tracking.
- Analytics & Optimisation: Own channel‑level reporting — build dashboards, monitor KPIs (CAC, ROAS, LTV:CAC, CVR), and surface actionable insights. Design and run structured A/B tests across creatives, audiences, landing pages, and bidding approaches. Work with the Marketing Analyst to identify conversion funnel drop‑offs, assess campaign effectiveness and drive insights to further refine spend, targeting and messaging.
- Growth: Identify and pilot new acquisition channels, evaluating CAC and scalability. Collaborate with the brand and content teams to align paid creative with organic messaging and seasonal moments. Present performance updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders regularly.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years experience in performance marketing brand‑side or agency, with a proven track record of managing significant paid budgets.
- Preferably experience working within the fintech industry, marketplace or high‑growth startup.
- Deep platform / channel marketing expertise — you understand campaign types, auction dynamics, targeting capabilities, and algorithm behaviours.
- Strong analytical skills — you have a passion for digging into the data and understand what is working, what isn’t, and why.
- A keen eye for marketing design and strong appetite for testing and experimenting with new creative ideas outside of the box.
- Ability to demonstrate experience on how you have leveraged AI to streamline or evolve your work processes.
- Solid grasp of attribution models and the limitations of platform‑reported data.
- A test and learn, curious mindset.
- Strong presentation, organisational and communication skills.
- Highly proactive with a willingness and ability to get hands dirty, to speak up and to always ask why.
- Passion for personal finance.
- Takes as much pride in seeing their team win as they do in seeing themselves win.
- A natural problem solver, and is comfortable asking questions and figuring things out.
- Isn’t afraid to say “I don’t know”.
