Join us as a Private Client Sales & Relationship Manager and play a key role in the next stage of our growth journey. With ambitious targets to exponentially grow our UK Private Clients business over the next five years, we are looking for exceptional people to help make it happen.
In this role, you will:
- Win new business and build a portfolio of high-net worth clients.
- Partner with clients to deliver solutions that meet their complex and evolving financial needs.
- Shape our proposition and influence how we serve the next generation of private clients.

Responsibilities
Clients:
- Develop a client engagement plan for your portfolio that maximises sales opportunities, income, and face-to-face interactions.
- Regularly review your engagement plan to identify missed opportunities for engagement and to strengthen client relationships.
- Create strategies that deliver an exceptional client experience, ensuring that Investec remains top-of-mind for any of their financial needs.
- Ensure all client outcomes are underpinned by our consumer duty responsibilities - what is right for the client will result in the right business outcomes.
Sales & Engagement:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Investec's proposition, including our Private Client products and our partnership with Rathbones Group, as well as the broader group offerings.
- Actively collaborate with your team leader to continually refine your client engagement plans to ensure maximum outreach to clients.
- Drive growth of your client portfolio through targeted sales campaigns.
- Collaborate with offshore banking teams (IBCI, IBSAG) and other onshore core client groups to share best practices.
- Understand the regulatory and risk environment, ensuring adherence to responsibilities for the business, yourself, and your clients.
Performance:
- Meet the performance outcomes set out in your performance framework on both a quantitative and qualitative basis.
- Continuously assess and enhance performance to improve commercial outcomes, including contact strategies, pitching, asking for referrals, and converting opportunities into transactions.
- Engage in ongoing learning by working with your team leader to identify skills gaps and co-create development plans to address these.
Data, Analytics, and Market Insights:
- Take ownership of your client data and utilise CRM tools as a core aspect of your role.
- Use business insights to drive performance.
- Stay current with market trends and economic factors that may create sales opportunities and enhance client engagement.
