At Investec, our EUS Device Management team delivers essential IT services across the business. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented junior to join this well-established Device Management team. This is a fast-paced role with plenty of learning opportunities. You'll gain exposure to a broad set of tasks, with one day you might be supporting the Walk-In Centre and the next performing desk visits. No two days are the same, and you'll be encouraged to learn quickly and develop a strong attention to detail.
What will you be doing?
- Assist with new joiner onboarding and offboarding processes
- Track and manage IT assets (laptops, MacBooks, mobiles, iPads)
- Support procurement activities and maintain procurement records
- Aid in laptop builds and configuration
- Manage mobile phone contracts and device allocation
- Support print services and office equipment management
- Perform desk setups, moves, and related activities
- Provide support at the Walk-In Centre
- Deliver “White Glove” service to internal customers as required
- Maintain accurate asset records and contribute to process improvements
- Collaborate with the ITS team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations

Nice-to-have (desirable)
- Prior experience in IT asset management, procurement, or device support
- Exposure to desk moves, onboarding/offboarding, or walk-in service desks
- Interest in IT service delivery and operations
- Familiarity with asset tracking systems or basic ticketing tools
- Open to travelling to regional offices from time to time where required.
As part of our collaborative & agile culture, our working week is 4 days in the office and one day remote.
