FX Junior Dealer – Treasury Risk Solutions
The FX Dealing team, within the Risk Solutions Group, provides spot, forward, NDF, and options-based FX solutions to corporate clients. The team also supports clients in managing cash flows via the iX platform, including currency accounts and payments. The role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, client-focused team within Treasury Risk Solutions. The Junior Dealer will support senior dealers, sales colleagues, and leadership in delivering excellent client service, driving revenue growth, and ensuring operational integrity. This is a development role with exposure to FX markets, client relationship management, and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the FX Dealing Desk with phone coverage, booking FX spot, forward, and NDF tickets, and managing FX options expiries.
- Assist in reaching out to clients with market updates and identify cross-sell opportunities.
- Build and manage a portfolio of transactional FX clients from lapsed-client lists.
- Drive payment-revenue growth and increase platform usage.
Client Experience
- Provide coverage for FX dealers off the desk or on holiday.
- Support client events, manage logistics, and coordinate regional events.
- Work with teams to ensure swift settlements and resolve post-trade issues.
Desk Management Support
- Support MI analysis, CRM data integrity, and prepare presentations.
Operational Integrity
- Conduct collateral outreaches and manage order confirmations.
- Contribute to system and operational improvements and support automation initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Proven client-facing sales experience and passion for FX markets.
- Desire to learn treasury and hedging products, sales processes, and dealing operations.
- Self-motivated, articulate, confident, proactive, diligent, and relationship-oriented.
- Results-driven, curious, respectful, collaborative, and with integrity.
Additional Attributes (Preferred but Not Essential)
- FX sales experience, organized, detail-oriented, insightful, creative, empathetic, personable, enthusiastic.
