Overview
This role advises on matters relating to all contentious and non-contentious employment law including:
- Advisory work on employee life cycle
- All employment aspects arising out of mergers and acquisitions
- Outsourcing
- Reorganisations
- Dealing with employment claims and relevant litigation
- Restrictive covenants
- Providing practical advice on all aspects of termination of employment and negotiating Severance Agreements and Service Agreements
- Exposure to a wide range of general employment law in line with their level of experience
Qualifications & Attributes
- Solid track record of working on Employment and Labour matters gained from a well-respected law practice or in-house
- Specialist knowledge and experience of employment law
- Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels internally and externally
- Excellent commercial acumen
- Ability to be patient and explain technical terminology in easy language
- To act with integrity at all times and embrace the philosophy of treating our customers fairly (compulsory)
- Regulatory knowledge as applicable to role (compulsory)
- Coaching & assessment (compulsory for managers and supervisors)
- Excellent commercial and analytical skills and the ability to apply them to create innovative and commercial solutions
- You will have the highest standards of integrity and ethics
