Role Overview
The role involves proactively developing and growing relationships with mortgage intermediaries, ensuring each intermediary is appropriately authorised to promote our products and operates in line with the FCA's principles of Treating Customers Fairly and Consumer Duty requirements. You will promote our mortgage offering to both new and existing brokers to win incremental business, while also identifying and developing new accounts to drive volume. The position includes organising and attending trade exhibitions, seminars and corporate events, as well as gathering market intelligence and competitor insights to support strategic and tactical decision-making. In addition, you will review all new enquiries, decline or issue Indicative Terms where appropriate, prepare the required case documentation, and complete a thorough handover to the lending specialist to progress each case through to completion. To ensure your responsibilities regarding Treating Customers Fairly, the Prevention of Financial Crime (including money laundering, identification and reporting of fraud) are carried out effectively and in accordance with the Company's internal policies.

Qualifications
- Act with integrity at all times and embrace the philosophy of treating our customers fairly.
- Knowledge of the Company's products and ability to describe them clearly to intermediaries.
- Presentation skills – able to construct and deliver sales presentations with confidence, conviction and clarity of message.
- Report writing and diary management – ability to convey key messages in a clear and concise manner in written form.
- Financial understanding – ability to work with figures and numbers confidently and utilize the CRM system effectively.
- Relevant selling experience in a business-to-business environment within the financial services and mortgage space specifically.
- Detailed knowledge of the financial services intermediary market.
- Previous experience managing IFA and other intermediary trading relationships.
- Proven track record of successfully selling to intermediaries/third parties.
