Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised, proactive, and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our expanding team in Norwich.

About the Role

As a Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our domiciliary care service.

You will be responsible for coordinating staff rotas, supporting care workers, liaising with service users and their families, and ensuring care is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with CQC standards.

This is a fast-paced office-based role that requires excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage staff rotas using care scheduling systems.
  • Allocate care workers to service users based on individual needs, skills, and geographical locations.
  • Respond promptly to staff absences and arrange emergency cover.
  • Liaise daily with service users, families, care staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor care delivery to ensure high standards and continuity of care.
  • Update care plans and maintain accurate electronic records.
  • Support the Registered Care Manager with compliance and CQC requirements.
  • Conduct spot checks, supervisions, and field support when required.
  • Handle enquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
  • Ensure care packages are delivered safely and effectively.

About You

We're looking for someone who has

  • Previous experience working within a domiciliary care setting (essential).
  • Previous experience as a Care Coordinator, Scheduler, or similar role (desirable).
  • A strong understanding of CQC regulations and person-centred care.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong IT skills and experience using care management or scheduling systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
