Registered Care Manager / Care Manager

Location: Cumbria Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE) Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

We're Hiring: Registered Care Manager / Care Manager | Cumbria

Verity Healthcare is looking for an experienced Registered Care Manager or Care Manager to lead and develop our domiciliary care services across Cumbria.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and motivated leader with a strong background in domiciliary care who is committed to delivering outstanding, person-centred care while ensuring full compliance with CQC standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of domiciliary care services.
  • Lead, motivate, and support care coordinators and care staff.
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered to all service users.
  • Develop, review, and monitor individual care plans and risk assessments.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor service quality through audits, spot checks, supervisions, and quality assurance processes.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, local authorities, commissioners, and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage staffing levels, rotas, recruitment, and training.
  • Drive service growth while maintaining exceptional standards of care.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Registered Care Manager or Care Manager within domiciliary care.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards).
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Right to work in the UK.
