The role

Join Invest NI’s Board and shape our economic future. Board members have corporate responsibility for Invest NI and ensuring the organisation plays its part in delivering the Economy Minister’s priorities.

Invest NI is the region’s economic development agency. Members of the Board have corporate responsibility for ensuring that Invest NI complies with any statutory or administrative requirements for the use of public funds. The Board oversees performance and strategic direction and is also responsible for ensuring the highest standards of corporate governance, efficiency and propriety in the use of public funds.

The time commitment is approximately 3 days per month includingattendance at Board meetings, sub-committeesad hoc committee meetings, business case reviews and occasional evening engagements. The appointments begin on 1 April 2026.
