Are you an engineer with a proactive mindset and a solid understanding of production environments? We are looking for a Product Designer to join a global industry leader in Espoo or Hyvinkää.
About The Role
In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team. Your focus is on a specific solution related to the programming process of automation lines, designed to support and enhance the functionality of other production tools. You will be responsible for gathering requirements and translating them into technical specifications for the developers.

Work tasks
- Requirement Engineering: Gather requirements from global business stakeholders and translate them into clear IT specifications.
- Bridge Builder: Act as the primary link between business needs and the development team, ensuring a global perspective in all solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of functionalities, processes, and requirements.
- Agile Development: Work in 2–4 week sprints, managing the backlog for a product undergoing continuous development.
We are looking for
- Educational Background in engineering (e.g. automation, industrial)
- Experience: You have experience and technical understanding of production processes and automation lines.
- Technical Mindset: You understand the best practices of software development and how software integrates with manufacturing.
- Systems Knowledge: Understanding of SAP (especially PP module) and cloud-based applications is a strong advantage.
- Proactive Personality: You are hands-on and comfortable visiting the factory floor. You have the confidence to proactively contact international stakeholders and challenge requirements when needed.
- Language: Professional fluency in English is mandatory.
