What we are looking for
We’re seeking a delivery-focused Product Owner to lead the development of a new B2B2C digital service for our digital retail intermediary investment platforms. This role will be central to translating business and client requirements into actionable product features, responsible for shaping what is feasible, valuable, and scalable, coordinating across internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery through Agile practices.
Responsibilities
- Prioritise product features that deliver the greatest client value while remaining technically and operationally feasible.
- Balance flexibility to iterate whilst ensuring the product is built for scale—across data, infrastructure, and user experience.
- Define the data strategy for personalisation: what’s the minimum viable data set, determine the most effective methods for collection, and inform what analytics needed to extract maximum value and where data collection becomes a barrier to feasibility.
- Contribute to shaping a modular, scalable solution that can evolve with client needs and platform capabilities.
- Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring feasibility, and alignment with stakeholder requirements.
- Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, reviews) and maintain delivery cadence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and validate business, client and technical requirements.
- Coordinate validation sessions with end‑users to ensure product features meet expectations.
- Manage release planning, technical debt, and dependencies across teams and vendors.
- Align with Solution Owner and technical leads on architecture and integration and the Client and Proposition Manager on client requirements, needs and commercial considerations.
What you can bring
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments, ideally within digital financial services.
- Entrepreneurial, can‑do attitude and comfortable managing ambiguity and working within multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience integrating digital solutions into intermediary platforms or environments—including managing cross‑functional dependencies and navigating platform constraints.
- Experience or familiarity with data science, martech (e.g. personalisation engines, marketing automation), or behavioural finance is highly advantageous.
