You will be Responsible For:
- Design and lead Core Data Warehouse data strategy and roadmap across all projects.
- Carry out and oversee business analysis and detailed requirements gathering activities across project(s) and delivery squads as required.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to ensure priorities are agreed and deliverables executed with diligence and in accordance with business needs.
- Manage dependencies across projects requiring aggregated investment data as an input, escalating risks to Investment Data Office leadership as required.
- Translate business use cases and requirements into data requirements, partnering with technology in functional and technical design discussions to ensure the end data product meets business needs.
- Translate requirements into executable Epics for all impacted squads.
- Advise Investment Data Office leadership to ensure that data-related business requirements align to broader business goals.
- Evaluate strategic impacts of necessary technology and architecture priorities such as a cloud-first strategy and tech debt remediation and ensure the same are reflected in solution recommendations.
- Lead data-related business change management activities as part of their project(s) to drive business user engagement and adoption and mitigate impact.
- Implement opportunities for continuous improvement of data management processes to reduce complexity, improve data quality, and increase efficiency throughout the data delivery lifecycle, interfacing with and articulating the value of data strategy to relevant business areas, individual users, and technology partners.
- Ensure all activities are in line with Invesco's Conduct principles.
The Experience You Bring:
- 5 to 7 years product ownership and roadmap management experience.
- Minimum of 15 years working with investment data.
- Track record of working on large, complex projects preferably within an Agile framework.
- Strategic understanding of data capabilities, practices, and frameworks including concepts related to master data management, data governance, business intelligence, analytics, and their practical applications to deliver data products.
- Extended understanding of common data platforms and how data technologies function, with a lens toward practical application to business needs.
- Strong ability to handle multiple requests from varied stakeholders, maintaining clear priority and adjusting when needed.
- Strong ability to build relationships, collaborate, mentor, motivate, and influence internal and external teams.
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, data analytics or a related field.
