Your Role: The role will primarily focus on leading and executing product management initiatives for Invesco’s European private credit business across broadly syndicated loans, CLOs, direct lending, and distressed credit & special situations. This role partners closely with Portfolio Managers, Client Portfolio Managers, Distribution, Marketing, Compliance, Operations and other key stakeholders to drive product strategy, positioning, commercial effectiveness, and client delivery. The Associate Director is expected to independently own key initiatives, contribute to strategic planning, and act as a senior product representative internally and externally. A deep understanding of private credit markets, investment strategies, portfolio construction, risk, performance drivers, and market dynamics is required, along with strong leadership, communication, and execution capabilities.
What you will be doing:
- Own and oversee regional marketing collateral and product messaging for private credit capabilities.
- Lead responses to complex client inquiries and RFP/RFI processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally to advance strategic initiatives, product launches, and business priorities.
- Develop and maintain deep expertise across private credit offerings and investment strategies.
- Originate and coordinate client responses related to fundraising and ongoing relationship management.
- Lead the creation of high-quality marketing materials, thought leadership, commentaries, and whitepapers.
- Represent product perspectives in senior-level client and internal discussions.
- Ensure all activities adhere to Invesco’s Conduct principles; provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Contribute to the evolution of global private markets product management best practices.
What you will bring:
- Significant experience in private credit, private markets, or related investment products within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple initiatives autonomously.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders.
- Project management, analytical, and execution skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, eVestment, Preqin and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of private credit markets, fund structures, investment processes, and performance drivers.
- The ability to analyse and interpret fund and portfolio data.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Communication, judgment, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively.
