Role Overview
Maintain the highest standard of account onboarding and client change management for Invesco’s clients to contribute towards delivering a superior investment experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, custodians, transition managers, and key internal partners to ensure effective coordination of onboarding new institutional clients (both segregated and investing into IVZ funds) within EMEA and globally managed mandates.
- Coordinate client change management events, such as transitions between custodians/KVGs for EMEA and globally managed mandates.
- Manage the closure of institutional accounts within EMEA and globally managed mandates.
- Perform department-wide administrative roles as necessary (e.g., participating in the daily rota, managing the broker mailbox, maintaining schedules, writing weekly stakeholder meeting minutes).
- Identify and recommend or implement improvements in the above processes where possible.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the asset management industry.
- Experience in transitions/onboarding/operations is desirable.
- A relevant industry examination (IAQ and IMC).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply existing solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
- Practical application of the firm’s policies and procedures to solve difficult problems.
- Ability to impact a range of business, client, operational or project activities within own and related teams.
- Proven interpersonal skills for liaising with internal departments.
- Proactive attitude towards changes and implementing new processes.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Understanding and knowledge of the asset-management industry, trade lifecycle, investment functions (legal, compliance, investment, risk), and operations (trade processing, corporate actions, reconciliations), custodians and fund accountants.
