The Investment20/20 Programme: We are proud to be a part of the Investment20/20 initiative, and we are delighted to be recruiting for a number of 12 month placements across the business. As a Trainee in Investment Operations Management at Invesco Real Estate, you will assist with the Investment Operations Management team in providing support to the Portfolio Management team with operational support throughout the lifecycle of a fund, including support for transactions, data governance, liquidity management, performance monitoring, and investor reporting. Your primary goals will be to ensure the smooth delivery of portfolio operations and to assist in maximising financial planning and controlling efficiency.
You will be involved in:
- Assisting in Production and review of monthly, quarterly and annual reports, including fund performance monitoring, investor reporting, TER, risk reports and assist coordinating the Pay Day Report process. This includes preparing core deliverables within the team as well as reviewing inputs or draft outputs produced by offshore teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support database and dashboard updates, including collecting, reviewing, and organising data from underlying fund teams.
- Carrying out data validation and reconciliations to help ensure the completeness and accuracy of reportable data.
- Assisting with liquidity and distribution management.
- Supporting fund-level performance calculations.
- Assisting in acting as an interface between the Portfolio Manager and other teams involved in the fund.
- Supporting Product Management in enhancing client experience reporting.
- Supporting team activities and continuous improvement projects when required.
- Prior experience is not required – full training will be provided.
- Interest in Real Estate and willingness to learn.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Proactive mindset with problem solving attitude.
