We're building a brand‐new start‐up venture inside the firm - and we're looking for a bold, delivery‐obsessed Senior Product Manager to help shape it from the ground up. In this role, you won't just manage a backlog - you'll shape the creation of a new B2B2C digital service designed for the next generation of digital retail intermediary investment platforms. You'll be at the heart of a fast‐moving, entrepreneurial environment where you'll translate real client problems into products that actually move the needle. As a Senior Product Manager, you'll define what's feasible, what's valuable, and what scales - making sharp trade‐offs, coordinating seamlessly across internal teams and external partners, and driving high‐velocity delivery through modern Agile practices. This is a hands‐on, high‐impact role where you'll shape the product vision, influence strategic direction, and play a central part in launching a service that will redefine how investors engage and convert.
Responsibilities include:
- Prioritising product features that deliver the greatest client value while remaining technically and operationally feasible.
- Balancing flexibility to iterate whilst ensuring the product is built for scale - across data, infrastructure, and user experience.
- Defining the data strategy for personalisation: what's the minimum viable data set, determining the most effective methods for collection, and informing what analytics needed to extract maximum value and where does data collection become a barrier to feasibility.
- Contributing to shaping a modular, scalable solution that can evolve with client needs and platform capabilities.
- Owning and prioritising the product backlog, ensuring feasibility, and alignment with stakeholder requirements.
- Leading Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews) and maintain delivery cadence.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to elicit and validate business, client and technical requirements.
- Coordinating validation sessions with end-users to ensure product features meet expectations.
- Managing release planning, technical debt, and dependencies across teams and vendors.
- Aligning with Solution Owner and technical leads on architecture and integration and the Client and Proposition Manager on client requirements, needs and commercial considerations.
What you can bring:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments, ideally within digital financial services.
- Entrepreneurial, can-do attitude and comfortable managing ambiguity and working within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience integrating digital solutions into intermediary platforms or environments - including managing cross-functional dependencies and navigating platform constraints.
- Experience or familiarity with data science, martech (e.g. personalisation engines, marketing automation), or behavioural finance is highly advantageous.
