The Investment20/20 Programme: We are proud to be a part of the Investment20/20 initiative, and we are delighted to be recruiting for a number of 12 month placements across the business. You’ll have the chance to play an active role and contribute to the success of the function, and with this you’ll gain industry knowledge and experience whilst developing relationships. These roles are traineeship opportunities, so we are specifically looking for school leavers. We offer entry level work experiences that will inspire and challenge you!

As a Junior Internal Audit Analyst, you will work alongside experienced auditors from day one, gaining hands-on exposure to the end-to-end audit process. You will take on increasing responsibility as your confidence and skills grow, while learning how to assess risk, evaluate controls and communicate insights effectively. Over the 12-month programme, you’ll build a strong foundation in audit and risk management, develop highly transferable professional, analytical and organisational skills, and gain valuable insight into a global asset management organisation.

You will be involved in:

  • Building a strong foundation in internal audit by learning what internal audit does, why it matters to the organisation, and how auditors help manage risk.
  • Playing an active role in real audits by supporting the delivery of internal audits in line with the approved audit plan.
  • Developing practical analytical skills by helping gather, review, and document audit evidence.
  • Learning to identify risks that matter by supporting the team evaluate business processes and controls.
  • Building professional organisation skills by maintaining clear, accurate, and well-organised audit documentation.
  • Gaining confidence in professional writing by helping draft audit observations that clearly explain issues, risks, and potential improvements.
  • Developing strong professional standards by working ethically and responsibly.
  • Being curious and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in how effective risk management supports the organisation.
  • Confidence in asking questions, seeking clarification, and communicating professionally and respectfully.
  • Being positive and growth-minded, open to feedback, and comfortable learning through guidance and hands-on experience.
  • Being reliable, accountable, and detail-aware.
  • Being organised, self-motivated, and proactive in supporting the team.

  • The assessment process will include: CV Review, Video Interview (containing both video and written questions), Final Interview.
  • Closing date for applications: Monday 25th May 2026.
  • Start date of the programme: September 2026.
  • Salary: £26,500 per annum.

Please Note: We unfortunately are unable to accept industry placement year students onto this programme. We require all applicants to have the right to work in the UK until at least October 2027.
