The Investment20/20 Programme

We are proud to be a part of the Investment20/20 initiative, and we are delighted to be recruiting for a number of 12 month placements across the business. You’ll have the chance to play an active role and contribute to the success of the function, and with this you’ll gain industry knowledge and experience whilst developing relationships. These roles are traineeship opportunities, so we are specifically looking for school leavers. We offer entry level work experiences that will inspire and challenge you!

The Internals Comms Assistant will be an integral part of the internal communication team by supporting all aspects of product and day to day communication activities. Supporting the team in delivering clear, engaging and effective communications across the business. This is a learning role designed to give you broad exposure to internal communications in a global organisation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Executing communication plans that demonstrate the impact and alignment of Invesco’s strategy and priorities.
  • Supporting the delivery of high-quality internal communications, scaling employee engagement events, supporting key business partners and managing our key regional communications channels (ie intranet; digital, email) on a day-to-day basis.
  • Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will learn how communication plans are developed and delivered, support content creation and channel management, and help with the organisation of employee events and campaigns.
  • Providing internal communication support for key business initiatives across the EMEA region, building relationships, learning how to advise on day to day internal communication needs, writing and developing plans and delivery on those plans.
  • Supporting the content, logistics and delivery of high quality, large-scale events across Invesco, such as town halls, informal coffee connects, and business leader events.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and evolution of the internal communication channels, maintaining sharepoint sites, intranet, Viva Engage including research around best practice and bringing your own ideas.
  • General curation and creation of articles, video scripts, emails and commentaries to support and communicate Invesco's strategy and priorities and to connect employees to what's happening within our business and our industry.
