What we are looking for:
As a HR Business Partner you will act as a relationship manager for designated business functions within EMEA, proactively partnering on people-related matters in line with business strategy and requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Building strong working partnerships with leaders in the designated business functions, becoming integrated with the management team(s) to understand their priorities and to identify and translate business drivers into a commercial people plan, utilising consulting and other HR skills as required.
- Interpreting and pragmatically applying HR policy and best practice to advise and influence leaders and their teams on a full range of complex people related matters throughout the talent lifecycle (including strategic workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, non-routine employee relations matters etc.) in order to achieve positive outcomes in line with business priorities.
- Developing a deep knowledge of the talent within the assigned business functions, utilising talent lifecycle data and information to advise and coach leaders on engaging and developing their teams with a view to retaining top talent at all levels of the organisation (partnering with the Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition teams as appropriate). Actively partner with leaders on change management initiatives including organisational design, restructures etc., assessing implications and risks to optimise long-term outcomes.
- Working with leaders to drive the culture of the business functions in line with Invesco principles and strategic priorities.
- Overseeing HR support for cyclical activities such as the annual talent management, performance and compensation reviews (ensuring decisions are performance and market led and challenging decisions/being point of escalation for concerns where necessary). Interpret and leverage management information to enable leaders to take better informed decisions.
- Working with the broader HR team to ensure that HR policies and practices are designed, implemented and communicated effectively to meet business needs and changes in legislation and regulations.
- Partnering closely with functional and global HR colleagues to ensure a coordinated and high quality HR provision for matrixed business functions across the full breadth of the HR remit.
- Leading or actively participate in regional and global HR projects as required.
What you can bring:
- Significant prior experience as a highly effective HR Business Partner in a global, matrix environment.
- Proven experience in partnering with leaders on all people related issues, proactively identifying issues, recommending solutions and advising and coaching across the full remit of HR activities.
- Experience of working with complex incentive plans would be an advantage.
- Experience of working in a regulated environment would be beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong working knowledge of principles of coaching and change management.
- Good knowledge and understanding across the broad spectrum of the full HR remit (ie compensation, benefits, organisational development, learning and development, talent acquisition).
- A good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
