Your Role:
The Associate Designer is an entry-level creative contributor who supports the development and execution of visual design across a wide range of global marketing and brand initiatives. This role is ideal for someone early in their design career who is eager to learn, grow, and collaborate within a global creative organization. The Associate Designer supports more senior members of the Creative Team with the execution of all projects flowing through the Creative department. Projects originate from all EMEA marketing segments of Invesco. This is a multi-tasking role, requiring work on more than one project at a time, preparing a variety of skilled graphic design and layout work across various media types and languages. In addition, the candidate will be assigned administrative and project management tasks as needed.
What you will be doing:
- Executes day-to-day design tasks and assigned deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Supports senior designers, art directors, and cross-functional partners on creative projects and deliverables across print, digital, social, video, premiums, experiential, PPT, etc.
- Works within defined timelines and meets deadlines reliably.
- Assists in photo and video stock research.
- Operates with oversight and limited autonomy, seeking guidance when needed and incorporating feedback effectively.
- Prepares production-ready files and assists with versioning, resizing, and asset organization.
- Explores global trending design topics and conducts regional market research.
- File management and maintenance of asset libraries on server and Milanote. File deployment to internal teams and external agencies.
- Produces design deliverables across multiple EMEA languages, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
What you will bring:
- Early-career or junior-level designer with foundational skills in visual design, layout, and digital production.
- Open to new graduates who have acquired some professional experience via internships.
- Familiarity with modern design tools and a desire to expand technical and conceptual capabilities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, PPT.
- After Effects/Premier Pro knowledge desirable but not critical.
- AI knowledge and interest a plus.
- Interest in social media trends.
- Infographic/Illustration skills a plus.
- Organisation and time management skills.
- Understanding of design principles (layout, typography, colour).
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and design systems.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Communicates ideas clearly and professionally.
