Your role:
To maintain the highest standard of account onboarding and client change management for Invesco’s clients to contribute towards delivering a superior investment experience to our clients.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborating closely with clients, consultants, custodians, transition managers, and key internal partners to ensure the effective coordination of onboarding new institutional clients (both segregated and investing into IVZ funds) within EMEA and globally managed mandates.
- Coordinating Client Change Management events, such as transitions between custodians/KVGs for EMEA and globally managed mandates.
- Managing the closure of institutional accounts within EMEA and globally managed mandates.
- Performing department-wide administrative roles as necessary (e.g., participating in the daily rota, managing the Broker Mailbox, maintaining schedules, writing weekly stakeholder meeting minutes).
- Identifying and recommending/implementing improvements in the above processes where possible.
What you will bring:
- Proven experience in the asset management industry.
- Transitions/Onboarding/Operations experience is desirable.
- A relevant industry examination (IAQ and IMC).
- Solves a wide range of complex problems and takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
- Uses concepts and abilities of the skill and the Firm’s policies and procedures to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways.
- Impacts a range of business, client, operational, project, or research activities within own and related teams.
- Proven interpersonal skills for liaising with internal departments.
- Proactive attitude towards changes and implementing new processes.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Understanding and knowledge of: Asset management industry, Trade life cycle, All investment functions (Legal, Compliance, Investment, Risk), Operations (Trade processing, Corporate Actions, Reconciliations) as well custodians and fund accountants.
