What we are looking for
We’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our ETF Technology team and play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining ETF Manager — our multi-tier Java-based trading application that powers ETF primary market transactions. You’ll work closely with the ETF business, development, and support teams, acting as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery.
Your responsibilities
- Manage and prioritise the backlog for ETF Manager, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for system enhancements and workflow improvements.
- Collaborate with development and support teams in an Agile environment using JIRA and Confluence.
- Partner with external stakeholders (brokers, vendors) to capture feedback and ensure smooth operational delivery.
- Support UAT and coordinate issue resolution for timely business sign-off.
- Maintain deep knowledge of ETF workflows and advocate for business priorities in technology initiatives.
- Assist in production support triage and help diagnose issues between business and IT teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability through technology.
- Work effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.
What you can bring
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in asset management or financial services; ETF or primary market knowledge preferred.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS essential) and multi-tier systems.
- Experience with Agile delivery and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and the Atlassian suite.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a pragmatic approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Desirable: Experience with Snowflake, Power BI, or Python.
