We are seeking a pragmatic and diligent individual to join our EMEA Central Compliance team as a Junior Compliance Executive. The EMEA Central Compliance team undertakes a variety of activities in supporting all functions across the firm alongside the local compliance teams in EMEA.

This role will focus on providing support for the range of activities covered by the EMEA Central Compliance team. The three key priorities of the team are to:

  • support firm wide and compliance priorities
  • focus on regulatory compliance and address key risks
  • seek to innovate and drive continuous improvement

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the onboarding/offboarding of regulated staff in regulated roles.
  • Supporting reviews, updates and tracking of relevant policies and procedures.
  • Supporting recordkeeping related activities.

What you can bring:

  • Some working knowledge of UK / EU regulations and associated compliance requirements
  • Project management experience would be advantageous
  • Practical knowledge of UK / EU regulations (e.g. SMCR, MiFID II) would be advantageous
  • Computer literate (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • A professional or vocational qualification in regulation and compliance would be an advantage, or an interest in studying for such a qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including written/oral communication skills
  • High standard of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Data analytics experience (e.g. Power BI) would be advantageous
  • Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the appetite to learn and develop skills as both the business and the regulatory environments evolve
