Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier quality activities across key suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain supplier quality monitoring processes and supplier performance metrics.
  • Conduct supplier quality assessments and on-site supplier audits where required.
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve supplier quality issues.
  • Lead supplier corrective actions and support root cause investigations.
  • Support the development and improvement of supplier approval and supplier quality processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities relating to supplier quality performance.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships whilst ensuring quality expectations are achieved.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within a supplier quality, quality engineering, or manufacturing quality role.
  • Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier quality issues.
  • Good understanding of quality systems and root-cause analysis techniques.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel.
  • HNC or above in an engineering or technology discipline would be beneficial.
  • Lead Auditor qualification or experience would be advantageous.

Hours: 8:30am – 17:00pm.
