Responsibilities
- Manage supplier quality activities across key suppliers.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality monitoring processes and supplier performance metrics.
- Conduct supplier quality assessments and on-site supplier audits where required.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve supplier quality issues.
- Lead supplier corrective actions and support root cause investigations.
- Support the development and improvement of supplier approval and supplier quality processes.
- Drive continuous improvement activities relating to supplier quality performance.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships whilst ensuring quality expectations are achieved.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a supplier quality, quality engineering, or manufacturing quality role.
- Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier quality issues.
- Good understanding of quality systems and root-cause analysis techniques.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments and external suppliers.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel.
- HNC or above in an engineering or technology discipline would be beneficial.
- Lead Auditor qualification or experience would be advantageous.
Hours: 8:30am – 17:00pm.
