About You
You’ll be an experienced executive leader and will have deep knowledge of the local geographical area and be expected to evidence meaningful and measurable impact across the Highlands of Scotland. You’ll demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence and build relationships at a senior level. You’ll be a collaborative and engaging strategic and people leader.
The Opportunity
Based in the Highlands of Scotland, the role will lead, develop and deliver all aspects of the operation of the Freeport as a core European hub for offshore wind and provide support to other businesses which contribute to the overall energy transition requirements of Scotland.
- Delivery of our growth focused business plan in line with the UK and Scottish governments.
- Continue to establish the Freeport as a leading location for offshore wind supply chain.
- Lead on engagement and effective working with key partners - Highland Council and the Scottish and UK Governments.
- Further develop our strategy and implement plans for the effective spend and allocation of resources and attract new sources of investment.
- Control finance, integrity and compliance of the operation.
