Chief Executive
The Role
As our next Chief Executive, you\'ll provide visible, inspirational leadership to our dedicated team and Board, steering Cloch towards a brighter future. Reporting directly to the Board, you\'ll oversee our strategic direction, ensure financial sustainability, and champion customer-focused services that adapt to evolving needs.
Your key responsibilities include to:
- Lead with Vision: Develop and deliver our Business Plan, translating big ideas into measurable wins while fostering innovation and digital transformation.
- Champion Culture: Embed our values in every decision, building a positive, inclusive environment that motivates teams and drives continuous improvement.
- Drive Impact: Manage resources wisely, build strong partnerships with stakeholders (from local authorities to the Scottish Housing Regulator), and act as our ambassador – influencing policy and showcasing our successes.
- Focus on What Matters: Prioritise tenant safety, community wellbeing, and value for money, all while navigating risks and embracing change.
This is a permanent, full-time role (35 hours/week) with a competitive salary of £90,095 - £93,444 (SM23-SM25). Based at our Greenock office with hybrid flexibility, plus generous perks like 8 weeks\' annual leave (29 days + 11 public holidays), health cash plan and more.

The closing date for applications is Monday 27th of October at 12pm. Following this, shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited to attend a first assessment stage with the panel, consisting of Board members and the Head of People and Culture.
It is anticipated that the first assessment stage will be held either the 6th or 7th November with the final stage scheduled for 21st November 2025. Candidates progressing to the final stage will also be asked to complete psychometric testing, the results of which will be used to support the overall assessment process.
