We’re looking for an organised and detail-focused Sustainability Compliance Analyst to join our Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO) and Sustainability team in Manchester, supporting the compliance activity linked to feedstock used by our biodiesel plants. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, reports and records, and is interested in developing knowledge within a specialist area of sustainability compliance. You’ll support activities including feedstock declarations, system updates, daily position reporting, Union Database records, audit preparation and RFAS reporting, helping to ensure information is accurate, complete and available when needed. Biofuel sustainability compliance is a specialist area, so full training will be provided.
We’re looking for someone with strong Excel skills, good attention to detail and the ability to follow processes accurately, with any previous exposure to compliance, audit support, fuel, logistics, supply chain or regulated reporting being advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure incoming feedstock declarations are received within contractual timelines adhering to ISCC standards
- Ensure timely and accurate entry into the company’s ERM system
- Support daily position reporting from the ERM system
- Manage data in the Union Database (UDB) highlighting any risks to the Sustainability Compliance Manager
- Maintaining the Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme process to ensure accurate company carbon reporting, along with other schemes we look to report under
- Preparing audit data to ensure compliance with the RED standards
- Support RTFO audits for road fuel and jet fuel
- Support Finance and ESG teams when necessary
- Travel to other Greenergy offices and biodiesel plants when required
- Experience working with data, records or documentation in an administrative, compliance, finance, operations, supply chain or similar environment
- Previous experience in a compliance, audit support, data analyst, operations support or administrative role would be advantageous
- Confident using Excel to review, check and reconcile data
- Experience using ERP, database or business systems to maintain accurate records
- Experience working with reports, reconciliations or recurring data tasks would be beneficial
- Exposure to sustainability, fuel, biofuel, waste, commodities, logistics or regulated reporting would be advantageous but is not essential
- Willingness to develop knowledge of biofuel sustainability compliance, including ISCC, RTFO, RED and related reporting requirements
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow defined processes accurately and consistently
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Analytical and confident working with data, reports and supporting documentation
