To deliver fuel to our customers, we have a 24/7 in-house haulage operation made up of over 650 drivers and a fleet of over 250 tankers. Greenergy Flexigrid operates out of over 20 depots nationwide, making over 182,000 deliveries to 3,100 customers each year. We're looking for a commercially minded and hands-on finance leader to head up the finance function for our Flexigrid business, providing both strategic support and practical financial leadership within a busy logistics environment. Reporting to the UK Financial Controller and partnering closely with Flexigrid's CEO, you'll provide clear financial leadership, commercial insight and robust financial control. This is a broad, hands-on role overseeing the end-to-end finance function and leading a small team of three. You'll be equally comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, managing financial planning and reporting, and rolling up your sleeves to understand the detail behind the numbers. Experience within logistics, transport or a similarly complex operational environment will be highly advantageous. This role can be based from either our Manchester or Tamworth office. To support effective partnership with both the operational and finance teams, you'll be expected to spend a minimum of two days each week in Manchester and two days each week in Tamworth.
