Greenergy is the UK’s leading supplier of road fuel and growing rapidly in the UK, and internationally. We operate globally with offices in Canada, the USA, Brazil and Dubai and source fuels from around the world, receiving over 700 shipments annually. To deliver fuel to our customers, we also have an in-house haulage operation employing over 600 drivers. Greenergy is a major investor in the UK’s fuel infrastructure, regenerating import terminals that are essential to the country’s ongoing supply security. Greenergy Fuels is the largest trading entity of the group, supplying 15 billion litres of fuel to its customers each year.

We are currently recruiting a Tanker Delivery Driver to work out of our West London depot working days on the Commercial contract. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of various fuels to commercial customer sites in line with Greenergy’s delivery procedures across a geographical area. Being the ‘face of Greenergy’ you must be committed to delivering first class customer service and represent the company in a professional and polite manner at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of various fuels to a variety of commercial customers.
  • Loading and making deliveries in a safe and professional manner.
  • Adhering to both legal and Company policies at all times and ensuring that all vehicle checks are completed, and defects are reported in a timely manner.
  • The delivery of quality customer service whilst demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures at all times.
  • To safely operate the vehicle and depot equipment as required, following Greenergy’s standard procedures at all times.
  • To build effective relationships with internal colleagues across the business to ensure smooth operations.
  • Accurate completion of all delivery paperwork.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Full UK with LGV Cat C+E and a minimum of two years commercial Class 1 driving experience.
  • Valid and up to date CPC and Digi Card.
  • A good understanding of driver regulations and the Working Time Directive Skills and Digital Tacho Cards.
  • Must be professional, flexible and self-motivated.
  • Basic IT knowledge is required as you will be operating in cab technology.
  • No penalty points.
  • Must hold a valid in date ADR Certificate.
  • Experience in transportation of Dangerous Goods.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety.
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
