From our jointly owned terminal in Foynes, we offer a range of fuel products to industrial, commercial, agricultural, domestic, wholesale and retail customers. We also operate over 115 service stations under the Inver and Amber brands along with 18 convenience stores. The Commercial Pricing Analyst will support pricing strategy, margin optimisation, reporting and commercial decision-making across Commercial and Retail Fuels operations. The role will provide analytical insight to support profitability, competitiveness and business performance while working closely with commercial, retail, finance and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retail & Commercial Pricing Management:
    • Calculate and issue daily retail fuel prices across multiple pricing structures.
    • Support commercial pricing analysis across Marine fuels, live pricing arrangements, contract pricing, fixed pricing agreements.
    • Monitor wholesale market movements and regional pricing trends.
    • Analyse pricing performance, pricing elasticity, customer behaviour, and margin optimisation opportunities.
    • Conduct pricing trials and performance analysis to support pricing strategy and competitive positioning.
    • Assist in the preparation and development of customer pricing proposals and commercial pricing models.
    • Audit pricing inputs, pricing calculations, and margin outputs to ensure pricing accuracy and integrity.
  • Reporting & Market Insight:
    • Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting covering: Sales and volume performance, Margin performance, Fuel grade performance, Market pricing analysis, Competitor price positioning, Profitability analysis, Budget versus actual performance.
    • Analyse performance across site classifications, volume bands, fuel grades, customer segments.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and analytical models to support operational and commercial decision-making.
    • Monitor market trends to identify market risks, anomalies, and commercial opportunities.
    • Support commercial stakeholders through data-driven insight and performance analysis.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Essential:
    • Strong numerical and analytical capability.
    • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
