Location: Manchester (Hybrid – minimum 2 days/week in office)

We\’re looking for a creative and experienced Video Producer to join a global, science-based organisation\’s Content and Storytelling team on a contract basis. Based in Manchester, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on turning complex ideas into engaging short-form video content for digital and offline channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce impactful 1-5 minute videos using a mix of new footage and existing content
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to develop scripts, storyboards, and editing briefs
  • Manage video edits and ensure alignment with brand and messaging
  • Provide shooting briefs and occasionally direct or shoot on location
  • Maintain quality and consistency across all video outputs
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Minimum 5 years\’ professional experience in video production and editing
  • Strong storytelling skills and knowledge of short-form video best practices
  • Proficiency in Final Cut Pro or similar editing software
  • Experience managing creative resources and briefing agencies
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Self-shooting ability is a plus
