We are partnered with a Law Firm who are looking for a Property Legal Secretary to join their London team. As a Property Legal Secretary, you'll provide essential administrative and secretarial support, working closely with fee earners and other secretaries.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling post-completion tasks including Land Registry and SDLT submissions.
  • Assisting with conflict checks, KYC processes and anti-money laundering procedures.
  • Coordinating property completions and liaising with clients, agents, and third parties.
  • Preparing bills and processing payments.
  • Managing property searches and document filing.
  • Conducting video verification calls with clients.
  • Supporting with document production, formatting, and version control.
  • Working within a rota to assist with telephone duties.

You will need:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a legal secretarial role, ideally within a property team.
  • A strong understanding of commercial and/or high-value residential conveyancing.
  • Experience handling post-completion tasks including Land Registry and SDLT submissions.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • High-quality document production skills, including dictation and formatting.
  • Confidence using platforms such as DocuSign, iManage, and Smartsearch.
  • A professional, discreet, and proactive approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and keen attention to detail.
