A leading global financial services firm is seeking a senior-level Product Control VP or Director to take ownership of the product control function supporting its Prime Brokerage and Equities business lines.
This is a high-impact leadership role, offering visibility to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to shape and enhance financial controls across a growing trading environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead daily P&L production and balance sheet substantiation for Prime Brokerage and Equities desks

Manage and mentor a team of product controllers working across equity and structured product trading

Ensure timely, accurate P&L attribution, valuation adjustments, and balance sheet integrity

Act as a key liaison between Product Control, Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Operations teams

Deliver strategic insights and commercial analysis on trading and risk performance to senior management

Ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory frameworks including PRA and Fed reporting requirements

Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements

Represent Product Control in internal audits, governance forums, and regulatory reviews
Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Deep experience in product control within a Prime Brokerage and/or Equities environment

Strong understanding of equity derivatives and structured products

Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams

Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across the business
