Are you a marketing compliance professional with experience in institutional investment management? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global asset manager seeking a Marketing Compliance Manager to join their Business Risk & Governance team in London.
About the Role
In this critical role, you’ll oversee the regulatory compliance of marketing, sales, and product materials across global markets. Working within a well-established compliance team spanning both the UK and the US, you’ll review client communications and fund marketing materials, ensuring alignment with firm policies and regional regulatory standards (including EMEA, APAC, and the US). You’ll collaborate closely with compliance advisory teams and business stakeholders to drive continuous improvements in marketing governance while developing your transatlantic regulatory expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regulatory reviews of marketing, advertising, and sales literature for institutional and intermediary audiences.
- Ensure compliance of product and client-specific materials with internal and external regulations.
- Manage digital compliance requirements for web and online platforms.
- Act as a subject matter expert in marketing compliance, advising stakeholders and helping shape internal controls.
- Liaise with internal audit and second-line functions to ensure compliance policy alignment.
- Monitor and escalate issues in the marketing compliance control framework.
About You
Must-Have:
- Strong background in marketing compliance within institutional investment management.
- Deep knowledge of EMEA and APAC marketing regulations (SEC and FINRA exposure is a plus).
- Experience reviewing fund-related advertising and marketing materials.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to communicate regulatory expectations clearly.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable operating independently and within matrixed organisations.
