A forward-thinking independent media agency is seeking an experienced Paid Social Manager to join its high-performing Activation team. In this role, you'll manage the full lifecycle of paid social campaigns, working across multiple platforms and verticals, and contributing to broader digital strategies. This is a Planner/Buyer role with the opportunity to expand into other digital channels such as influencer marketing and PPC, depending on your career goals and business needs.

The Role

  • You'll be responsible for planning, activating, optimising, and reporting on paid social campaigns.
  • Beyond execution, this role requires strategic thinking, strong client management skills, and the ability to transform complex briefs into effective social media strategies.
  • You'll collaborate closely with internal teams (Planning, Data, and other media specialists), and engage directly with clients.
  • The role also involves strategic consulting, audits, and temporary support for clients handling social activity in-house.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise paid social campaigns across platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Translate client objectives into actionable social strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Identify and integrate market trends and platform updates into media plans
  • Provide clear performance insights and actionable recommendations
  • Support onboarding of new clients and participate in new business pitches
  • Contribute to internal process improvements and training initiatives
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing and campaign reconciliation

About You

  • 2.5+ years' experience in paid social media
  • Proficient in managing campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms
  • Experience with performance and brand campaigns
  • Familiar with advanced campaign tracking, including CAPI, tag management, and GA4
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights
  • Experience managing brand uplift studies and working with reporting dashboards
  • Commercially minded, highly organised, and adaptable
  • Comfortable presenting to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Passionate about the media landscape and proactive in self-development
