Senior Legal Counsel - Employment LawLocation: LondonSalary: 115,000-130,000Working Pattern: Hybrid - 4 days in the office, 1 day from homeContract: Permanent, Full-timeWe have partnered with an International Bank to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel specialising in Employment Law. Sitting within the wider Legal function, you will provide employment law advice and support across the organisation's European and Asia-Pacific operations. Provide strategic employment law advice to HR, business leaders and other internal stakeholders across Europe and Asia-Pacific.Advise on a broad range of employment matters including hiring, contractual issues, compensation and benefits, restructuring and workforce reductions, immigration, workplace privacy, disability and human rights matters.Manage employment-related disputes and litigation, assessing legal, regulatory and reputational risk and developing appropriate case strategies.Monitor relevant legislative and regulatory developments and advise the business on their potential impact.Manage relationships with external legal counsel, including oversight of performance, strategy and costs.Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Legal function on cross-border and global employment matters.Support wider legal, regulatory and business projects as required.Requirements:Extensive experience advising on UK employment law, gained within private practice, an in-house legal function or a combination of both.Strong understanding of employment-related risk within a complex or highly regulated organisation.Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise and influence senior colleagues across Legal, HR and the wider business.Commercial approach to legal advice, with the ability to balance legal, regulatory, reputational and business considerations.Permanent
