Role Overview: We are looking for a Client Engagement Specialist to join our in-house legal team and be responsible for reviewing and drafting client engagement terms, outside counsel guidelines, and related documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review non-standard client engagement terms and contract documents/contracts to facilitate approval from firm management
- Serve as a key point of contact for client engagement terms and questions for attorneys and assistants
- Assist in the identification, resolution, and clearance of conflicts of interest issues
Experience and Qualifications:
- Graduate in an industry-related field or law degree (preferred)
- At least 2-3 years of legal experience preferred
- Previous experience reviewing and drafting contracts preferred
- Strong organisational, analytical, and writing skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills
