An experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partner is required on an interim-to-permanent basis to support a large, complex engineering-led organisation. This is a strategic role focused on workforce planning, data insight and senior stakeholder partnering rather than hands-on recruitment delivery.

Working as part of a wider People Services / TA function, the role acts as the link between Talent Acquisition and designated engineering business areas, ensuring hiring strategies are aligned to workforce plans, business priorities and organisational culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary TA Business Partner for assigned engineering functions
  • Translate workforce and manpower plans into clear, actionable hiring strategies
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders and People Partners, advising and challenging where appropriate
  • Use data, insight and reporting to improve TA performance and inform decision-making
  • Work closely with Regional TA Leads, TA Operations and Centres of Excellence to ensure aligned delivery
  • Partner with a global RPO provider to ensure consistent process, governance and candidate experience
  • Support divisional recruitment initiatives and longer-term workforce planning activity
  • Maintain oversight of recruitment governance, compliance and reporting
  • Reporting line into the Global Head of Talent Acquisition Operations and working closely with People Partners, business leaders and regional TA Business Partners globally

About You

  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition Business Partnering within a large, matrixed organisation
  • Strong background in workforce / manpower planning and strategic TA delivery
  • Experience supporting engineering or technical populations (Civil, Defence, Power Systems or similar)
  • Highly data-literate, able to turn insight into practical outcomes
  • Confident operating at senior stakeholder level with a consultative, coaching approach
  • Comfortable working across multiple geographies and cultures
  • Motivated by an interim-to-perm opportunity, rather than purely short-term contracting

  • Strategic remit where workforce planning capability is evolving
  • High-visibility role with senior influence
  • Hybrid working and no expected travel
