Content & Rights Manager (ELT) Hybrid (UK) plus London Allowance and Generous holiday and Pension

We're looking for a Content & Rights Manager (ELT) to oversee the management, governance and protection of learning and assessment content across a global portfolio of English language products.

This role combines content asset management, intellectual property, copyright and rights management, ensuring that content and associated assets are securely stored, appropriately licensed, easily accessible and compliant with organisational and contractual requirements.

Working closely with product, assessment and content development teams, you'll play a key role in maximising the value and reuse of educational content while protecting both organisational and third-party intellectual property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the storage, retrieval and version control of ELT learning and assessment content.
  • Oversee copyright, licensing and intellectual property compliance across content portfolios.
  • Ensure assets are accurately tagged, categorised and managed using agreed metadata standards.
  • Manage relationships, contracts and procurement activities with third-party content suppliers.
  • Support internal stakeholders with secure access to content and assets across multiple use cases.
  • Develop and embed best-practice processes, standards and guidance for content governance and rights management.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets and resource requirements relating to content and asset management.
  • Promote best practice in intellectual property and rights management across the wider organisation.

About You

  • Experience managing content, assets or publications within ELT, educational publishing, assessment or learning environments.
  • Strong understanding of copyright, permissions, licensing and intellectual property management.
  • Experience working with digital asset management systems, content repositories or publishing platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across dispersed teams.
  • Familiarity with English language teaching, learning products or educational publishing is highly desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity for a publishing, rights or content professional to play a central role in protecting and maximising the value of a significant portfolio of ELT intellectual property and assessment content.
