This opportunity sits within a fast-growing, UK-based fintech business operating across a multi-entity group within the financial services sector. The business is seeking a highly capable and detail-driven Finance Manager to take ownership of core financial accounting activities across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash operations and complete bank reconciliations across group entities
- Prepare and post journals, ensuring accurate classification in line with accounting policies
- Process intercompany transactions and maintain reconciliations
- Maintain and update the chart of accounts and ensure finance systems remain accurate and well-structured
- Produce monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis and insight
- Support financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting
- Lead the annual budgeting cycle, including consolidation and variance analysis
- Provide high-quality financial information to support strategic and operational decisions
- Identify opportunities for investment, expansion, or diversification to support long-term growth
- Handle sensitive financial and business information with a high level of discretion
Requirements
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (Or Equivalent)
- Minimum of 2/3 years' post-qualification experience
- Strong financial accounting experience within a multi-entity environment
- Solid understanding of financial systems, reporting tools, and accounting controls
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach
