A highly regarded Central London Local Authority is seeking an Insurance Claims Officer to join their specialist Insurance & Risk team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience across insurance claims, legal support, housing claims, investigations or dispute resolution who are looking to build a long-term career within a supportive public sector environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Investigating liability and insurance claims
  • Managing housing, highways and personal injury claims
  • Assessing acceptance or denial of legal liability
  • Gathering evidence and witness statements
  • Liaising with solicitors, claimants and third parties
  • Handling MOJ portal claims
  • Supporting litigation and court preparation
  • Maintaining accurate claims databases and records

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience within insurance claims, legal support, investigations, housing claims or dispute resolution
