I'm working with a well-established, global organisation to recruit a Technology Lawyer to join their in-house legal team. This role offers broad exposure across technology, IT, IP and compliance matters in a fast-paced, international environment. It's a strong opportunity for a lawyer looking to deepen their tech law expertise while developing into a more generalist in-house role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day advice on IT, technology and IP legal matters.
  • Negotiating technology licences, consultancy agreements and wider commercial contracts.
  • Supporting the legal aspects of new application development, including GDPR and regulatory considerations.
  • Managing relationships with external legal advisers to ensure matters are handled efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Supporting the global compliance framework, including data privacy, sanctions, AML, bribery and corruption and market abuse.
  • Building exposure to new areas such as financial crime risk management and specialist contract negotiation.
  • Assisting with ad hoc legal matters as required.

Essential requirements:

  • 2-3 years' PQE.
  • Experience within a corporate or commercial legal team.
  • Exposure to technology, IT and IP law.
  • Experience negotiating commercial and technology contracts.
