Our client a Media organisation who delivers a variety of free- to air content in the UK would love to hire a Media Data Analyst to help drive the delivery of our new streaming services.
You will work closely with the strategy and commercial teams to facilitate meetings and forums with their global recognised media partners. In addition, working with other commercial internal and external teams to support the development and delivery commercial plans and working on business cases and modelling of solutions.
This role would suit a someone with a passion for working on a variety of projects within maybe telecoms, media or technology with experience or a passion the free to air media landscape.This role reports into the Director of Strategy and is a critical and exciting role in a growing organisation that requires someone able to combine outstanding data,
statistical and analytical skills with strategic thinking; and the ability to work closely with all parts of the business.
You will be expected to lead on first-party data processing and analytics and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on data insights; and support the data needs and analysis of other projects and programmes.
The variety takes many forms including content, viewing and commercial data and you will both analyse and develop reports which will give critical insights to the business.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
At least 2 years of experience working in a data or insights function in-house or in a relevant agency.
Experience and proven ability in data analysis, modelling (including advanced Excel, knowledge of BI tools ( Tableau/ PowerBI / Looker Studio in addition to SQL or R or Python the ability to present data and findings from multiple sources is essential.
