We are currently partnered with a Financial Services company who are looking for an Assistant Finance Accountant to join their finance team in London.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Maintain and update financial records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance.
  • Provide support during audits and tax filings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
