We are looking for a proactive and organised Marketing Executive to support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns. This role will take responsibility for coordinating campaign activity across email, website, social media and events, while providing day-to-day direction and support to the Digital Marketing Assistant. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will help translate strategic priorities into well-executed campaigns that generate engagement, leads and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Campaign Planning & Delivery: Support the development and maintenance of the marketing campaign calendar. Coordinate campaign activity across email, website and social media to ensure delivery in line with agreed timelines. Prepare campaign briefs, content plans and internal schedules based on strategic direction from the Head of Marketing. Ensure all campaign activity is documented, tracked and delivered to deadlines.
- Email & Marketing Automation: Plan and manage the build, testing and scheduling of email campaigns and automated journeys. Work with our Marketing Assistant to ensure emails are correctly built, proofed and deployed. Monitor performance metrics such as open rate, click through rate and engagement, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Website & Content Updates: Coordinate campaign landing pages, blog posts and supporting website updates. Ensure all campaign content is accurate, on-brand and aligned with messaging priorities. Work with internal design team to produce supporting visuals and assets.
- Line Management & Team Support: Provide day-to-day direction, task allocation and support to the Digital Marketing Assistant. Review and approve campaign builds and content before publication. Support the development and progression of the Marketing Assistant through regular feedback and structured 1:1.
- Email Campaign Reporting & Optimisation: Track campaign performance and produce regular performance summaries for the Head of Marketing. Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness through testing, segmentation and content improvements. Maintain accurate records of campaign activity and outcomes for future planning and analysis.
Key Skills & Experience
- Essential: 2-3 years’ experience in a digital marketing or campaign focused role. Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms and campaign scheduling. Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Desirable: Experience working in a B2B or technology environment. Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress. Experience analysing marketing performance data and using insights to improve campaign outcomes.
Success Measures: You will be successful in this role if you deliver campaigns on time and in line with the agreed marketing calendar, maintain strong campaign execution standards across email and website, support the continued development and performance of the Marketing Assistant, and contribute to measurable improvements in campaign engagement and lead generation.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering a great opportunity to make a real impact within a busy and growing marketing team.
