This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their marketing career, whether you’ve recently graduated, completed a marketing apprenticeship, or are looking for your first role in the industry.

As Marketing Assistant, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide variety of marketing activities, supporting the delivery of campaigns, creating content, maintaining our digital channels and helping to ensure our brand is represented consistently across every touchpoint.

Working closely with the wider marketing team, you’ll also support our network of reseller partners by helping to maintain marketing resources, assist with onboarding and contribute to initiatives that strengthen our partner relationships.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys learning, takes pride in producing high-quality work and is keen to develop a long-term career in marketing.

Key Responsibilities

As our Marketing Assistant, you’ll help support a wide range of marketing activities, including:

  • Assisting with digital marketing across social media, email campaigns and website content.
  • Creating, editing and proofreading marketing content to ensure it is engaging, accurate and aligned with our brand guidelines.
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Updating website content and assisting with ongoing website improvements.
  • Helping to organise exhibitions, events and product launches, including attending events when required.
  • Supporting the administration of day-to-day marketing activities.
  • Managing and maintaining our Reseller Portal, ensuring resources remain accurate, relevant and up to date.
  • Supporting the marketing aspects of onboarding new reseller partners.
  • Full ownership of our internal, product and training newsletters, including planning, content creation, scheduling and performance reporting.
  • Conducting market and competitor research, identifying trends and sharing insights.
  • Monitoring marketing performance and assisting with campaign reporting where required.
  • Providing additional support across the marketing team as business needs evolve.
  • Providing holiday cover for our New Business team.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. You’ll ideally have:

  • A degree, apprenticeship or qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related subject, or equivalent transferable experience.
  • A genuine interest in marketing and digital communications.
  • Strong written communication skills with excellent spelling, grammar and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Power Point and Excel.
  • An understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing fundamentals.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive approach with a willingness to take ownership and learn new skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for exhibitions and events.

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience using Word Press or another content management system.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics or other marketing reporting tools.
  • Experience creating content using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Previous work experience, placement or internship within a marketing environment.

No matter your background, if you’re enthusiastic about marketing, enjoy learning new skills and want to develop your career in a supportive and growing business, we’d love to hear from you.
